ELKHART — Four upcoming job fairs look to hire around 200 individuals for positions at Indiana Toll Road travel plazas in Elkhart and Howe.

HMSHost, a global restaurateur that operates the toll road plazas, is hosting the job fairs at the Henry F. Schricker Travel Plaza 5 on the westbound side and George N. Craig Travel Plaza 5 on the eastbound side. Both are located at mile marker 90 just west of Cassopolis Street in Elkhart.

The job fairs will be held on four Saturdays — May 13 and 20, and June 3 and 10 — from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Attendees are urged to dress appropriately and bring a picture ID with current address, as well as a Social Security card, birth certificate or U.S. passport.

According to David Geiger, human resources generalist at HMSHost, there are around 35 positions available between the two Elkhart locations, including entry level and management positions. Employees could potentially work at the travel stops' Starbucks, Pizza Huts, Burger Kings or Travel Mart Convenience Stores.

"We are anticipating also having to add even more positions once the busier summer travel season hits in late June," he said.
